[in the order of what comes into mind)

#1) Be more sociable

People I know probably think I'm friendly and sociable, but really i have issues making new friends and talking to people I don't know.

When there are people I'm not close with around, I tend to be super quiet and try to be invisible y'know what im saying? And during outings if there are people I'm not close with going, then bye bye im not going.

So this year im gonna try to be friendlier, first stop: Orientation Camp'12!!!

#2) Study more, play less.

This is probably one of the important ones. Notice I didnt say NO playing that's cause I know I wont manage to NOT play around. But this year's an important year 'cause it's O's!!

I really dont want to disappoint. Be it myself, my parents, everyone who cares enough. I'm not smart, so im gonna have to work harder.

#3) Figure out where I wanna go in life.

It's like everyone has a goal, what school they wanna get into and into what course. While Im here, clueless as ever. I dont even know whether I wanna get into a Poly/JC.

When people ask me the "What do you wanna do when you grow up?" question, mostly im like "Plastic surgeon. 'Cause can earn lotsa money." but really, i dont know if i'll love my job. And im not good enough at dance to be a dancer, sigh regrets.

#4) Be a nicer person.

Im really unreasonable and stuck-up sometimes.(or all the time) I wanna be humble and nice!!!! Whoa that was short.

#5) Be punctual.

Its rare that im ever on time. Friends would definitely know this. So I wanna TRY to be punctual.

#6)Dance more

'Nuff said.

So basically this post will be dedications and reflections about 2011, I really wanna complete this before 2011 ends.. but i doubt i can 'cause it's 1.27am and I'm going out tmrw. Try my best ah.

So right now I'm trying to manage texting 4 people at once with this shitty laggy ass phone and listening to sad songs.

This year, I feel like everyone's grown so much and has become mature. And along with them, I have matured in some way too. I no longer bother about the trivial unimportant things and i laugh at silly things i used to think and do in the past. This is how you know you're growing up right? When you can look back at laugh at your former self.

This year has been eventful i guess. New class of 3/6E > Coping with studies > Modern Dance SYF > SYF closing ceremony > Teachers' Day performance > Moon Festival performance > Chingay practices > Prom Nite performance > Braces > 3/6 chalet > USS trip
Ok that's all I remember at the moment whoops.

• I'm really anti-social one, so when I first entered 3/6 im like 'wtf no im gonna be forever alone' but surprisingly i made some really good friends and i've grown to adore my class.

Like my 3/6 clique consisting of Gekkhee, Jiajing, Rhynade, Vianne, Jozoe, Jiayin.♥ And also the cute boys in my class such as Aaron, Hongze, Weixiong, Benedict(abit scary), Wenjun, Yeongjian, Yihong etcetc.

Thanks for making class enjoyable and kudos to us for making 2 teachers storm out of class this year. Lmao ok not something to be proud of.

• During SYF training, it was really hardcore and stressful for everyone. The atmosphere was always tight and everytime I tried to lift up the mood I would screw something up and get pointed out by Mrs Chong.(which feels horrible btw)

In the process, our relationships have gotten closer and new friendships made. Since everybody was working towards a common goal, we all worked pretty well together and created many smiles and laughters.♥

I'm glad it's over and even though we fell hard 'cause we got our hopes too high, I am proud of what we have gone through and it's the process that counts right? RS Modern Dance will always be a part of me.

• I was really skeptical about SYF Closing Ceremony but I can honestly say it's one of the best things that happened to me this year. Everyone attended the first training as strangers and performed on stage as friends and fellow dancers.

Despite the tiny arguments, we made many friends from different schools. Some I never would be friends with if not for the event.

Thanks for the memories. And I still miss the stupid trainings.♥

• I have blogged about Teachers' Day performance before so I'm just gonna say J3ACE ftw!

• We were pretty stoked up for the Prom Nite performance and it was quite the experience 'cause we were the first ones to try a dance genre entirely different from the norm ballet and modern dance.

Though people laughed at us, it's ok. Pft.

• I have lower braces right now and even though I'll be ugly duckling for the next 2 years or so, I hope i have pretty teeth in the future. :>

Today we went to some practice place near a stadium which name I have forgotten to practice for Chingay 2011.
It was quite horrid.

It rained and stopped only like a million times. The weather was pulling a prank on us.
Not really productive.

Sometimes I wonder why some girls have it all. Looks, figure, brains, initiative, thick-skin.
And time has proven that these get a girl far. People dont have the time to get to know you better before judging you, the surface is what appeals.

Sooo it's the holidays and Im rotting.
I had many thoughts just now but it's all gone now pft.

I'm the kind of person who chucks all my problems aside and distract myself.
When the time comes, the problems all pour onto me and it sinks in.

It's been AGES since I last blogged.
And many things have happened, time has passed so fast.
Tomorrow would end our Secondary 3 life, and holidays will come.
And next year our battle begins, O levels.

So the major things that have happened would be EOYs.
It's a low-time in my academics, I've yielded results that are way below expectations.
I hardly have any expectations for myself but yes, i've managed to disappoint even myself.

I'm determined to work hard next year though. I know the intensive lessons will force all of us to study, but i shall cut down on fooling around.
I've also decided to drop Physics. I believe that the time I save learning a subject I'm not interested in and can barely scrape through would be better spent on subjects that need polishing such as Maths.

During the holidays I wouldn't be idle either.
I would have dance practices for Chingay, performance at Khoo Teck Puat hospital, Prom'11 and Dance Camp.
In December, I would also have to sit for Amaths retest which I NEED to pass.

Major event: I'll be putting braces on 24November.
I've always been concerned about my ugly teeth and they've always pulled my self-esteem down.
I'm rather glad that I'll be fixing them but it's a big commitment involving 4years of meticulous care for my teeth.
Afterwards I may go for gum-contouring and definitely whitening.

This will always mean i'd be wearing braces to prom ):

J3ACE was a really impromptu decision and we seriously never thought we would get through the auditions.
I am aware some other groups had prepared and trained for a really long time before the auditions while we rushed it out within 1 week.

But all of us had other performances to attend to, and Common Test was around the corner too.
We had to miss lessons for dance trainings up till 6pm but we still made time to train for the audition.
The item was not completed during the CT period, and the rehearsals were the next day after the end of CT.

Yes Im glad we made it through to perform today and it really took many sessions of brainstorming, quite heated discussions and random ideas to come out with an item with our restrictions. Many say it was not up to expectations, and that we didnt deserve to perform much as the others.
It's alright, but you can't blame us for being demoralised and disappointed since we really did put in effort.

I think everyone did a great job: 5/1, Just-Another-Band, Mee Yee(especially), Fancy Drill. :)

Today was Teachers' Day and we celebrated Jiayin's belated birthday too.

After the performance, (and after much discussion & disagreement & blocking of the road) we went to eat at Jack's Place.
Laughed like crazy with them, and Jiajing poured the ice water served there into her own water bottle omg so aunty right i know.

Then we went to buy movie tix, wanted to watch The Smurfs but it was sold out.
Cars 2 was a bit too childish (not for Jiayin apparently haha) so we stupidly decided to catch a horror movie The Cat.

Really a wrong choice 'cause we were flipping out in the cinema.
Most epic theatre experience I swear, MANY people were screaming and laughing at their screams in the cinema. I was like laughing and crying(ok i was not just saying) at the same time, damn funny.

I sat beside Jozoe, this mad woman screamed at everything ok!

Im not the type who types in emo shit like "omg i just cried", "im so sad", "i wish someone would comfort me" or all those attention seeking shit.
Sometimes I would post my feelings, but I really do not want anyone to come and ask me "what happened", "come tell me" or whatever. It just gets a little hard to suppress it all inside, thats all.

Im not trying to say people ask me out of curiosity and not concern, but understand that I dont know how to express myself and i dont like to.

Okay it's 530am now and im a little high i guess.

I am SO freaking glad the examination period has blown over and what's done is done.
I may not have studied my best or at all for some subjects, but can't do shit about it now eh?

So hopefully I don't do too badly, 'cause I've been camping at the Republic Poly's library every single day with Jeslyn And Joey, sometimes SzeMeng and Matthew.

And also, I slept an average of 3-4 hours?
Yesterday, I slept for 2h 'cause i was practising Amath. Kinda worth it though, I think I'll pass it :>

So today I finally got to chill out with my two oldies GekKhee and XiaoYun. <-- LOL GekKhee your name so ugly with small k then big K. x:
Long time no hang out with them, but they're still always there. There for me, and there in my heart. (awww)

So we went to eat Mos Burger at Causeway Point first and I could finish a large sized cup of Milk Tea by myself hoho. Milk teas are awesome.

Then came to my house, Xiaoyun stayed while GekKhee went home to bathe and stuffz.
Met up in my house and set off for the movie. FAST AND FURIOUS 5.

First of all the movie is so ZKASJASHUHIUQJWUNA freaking awesome.
Maybe the story plot ain't that outstanding but the action, the planning of the movie was really, really good :>

Then went for dinner with GekKhee at KFC and home sweet home.
I napped at 10pm and woke up at 3am and now Im here writing this post at 6am.(current time)

I doubt anyone's reading this piece of rotten blog anymore.
But it's okay, imma treat it like an avenue to record my life and maybe my feelings.

I hardly blog nowadays. I really have no time.

Hi so obviously SYF is over, and we were totally disappointed.
Only after the SYF did I realise, how much we overestimated ourselves and how high our expectations were. With high expectations, comes more hurt.
So yeh, the results basically ripped our spirits apart.

So today is the eve of the Lunar New Year, so of course there is the Malay Dance performance.

Malay Dance's preparation is super tedious.
- Change into 2 pieces; flowy skirt like pants, top which itches like mad.

- Wear tight black belt.

- Wear gold chain-ish belt over black belt. [sounds like taekwondo]

- Hair; tie bun, attach fake bun, poke in flowers and gold flower pins with ZOMG-A-LOT hairspray.

- Make-up; foundation, powder, highlighter, eyeshadow, contouring, eyeliner, fake lashes, blush, lipstick, lipgloss. [freaking cake on the make-up man.]

Shared dance studio with Chinese Dancers, Bollywood dancers.
All the dances performed 'cept for Modern Dance :(
It's okay.

As usual, nervous until want to die before performance.
And my hands and feet felt cold, and I trembled a lot.

Also made a silly mistake at the very start 'cause I couldnt hear the muzik. D:

So the second week of school has passed.
And the work is piling up.

What are my feelings?
I feel stressed, because as usual, I can't catch Maths fast.
And also because, the Mother Tongue teacher makes me feel uncomfortable idkwhy.

All lessons are fine except Higher Mother Tongue.
I don't know whether to drop Higher Mother Tongue or not..

I'm not good in Chinese, and I don't like Chinese. I in fact HATE IT.
Have no idea why I've been in HMT since p3/p4.

I'm undecided whether to go to a JC or Poly, but HMT helps if I get into a JC.
But I feel so stressed in HMT 'cause I'm not the kind to do homework and study hard :/

Dropping it, I'd have to start over a new syllabus.

Seeing that everyone has a new year post, I shall post one too.
Timing's a bit inappropriate since it's exactly 4am in the morning and school starts.. tomorrow, 4/1/11.

Reflection
2010, has been quite a happening year.
I can't really remember what happened.. so let's just talk about those I can remember.

It was only this year, that I actually started bonding with people and making strong friendships. I made valuable friends like 2/5ians Wen Jun, Kang Hao, Yeong Jian, Min Quan, Jason, Yi Hong, Wei Sheng, Faiz, Amsyar.

Buddies like Pei Yi, Kelvin, George, Kah Seng, Jun Jie, Jonathan, Benjamin, Kenny, Si Jie, Ivy.

Taiwan Tour Group peeps like Terence, Ernest, Vivian, Uncle and Aunty Chia, Uncle and Aunty Lo, Grandma Lo.

And of course, my usualuvs Gek Khee, Tricia, Xiao Yun, JoeyG, Jeslyn, Jia Hui.

There are definitely more, so thank you ALL for the wonderful memories.
Thank you as well, for the unpleasant memories as they will make me learn new things I might not have known before.

For the new year, I'd like to achieve some particular things.
So Imma make my New Year resolution list right here on the spot for the first time.

1) IMPROVE IN DANCE.
Annessa, please bear the pain and push on. Accept the criticism and throw your bigass ego away. Stop being so forgetful and playful, you're troubling yourself and people around you.

2) STUDY HARD.
Tons of people have told you this, this year is gonna be the foundation for your O' levels next year. If you lag behind too much, you're gonna lose out.
Please refrain from falling asleep and dreaming in class, listen.

3) BE QUIETER.
In class and out. Stop defying the teachers 'cause you feel like it.
Offending the teachers have brought you no good, you've known this since a few years ago.
Helps in becoming a OGL the following year, and also when you're gaining knowledge from them.

4) SLIM DOWN.
You might, because of braces. Might get them during March, so you'll get tidy teeth and a slim figure. Refrain from eating too much junkfood, and exercise more.
For SYF.

5) LIMIT COMPUTER USAGE.
It's not gonna be holidays anymore, you can't sleep at 6am and wake up at 3pm.
You'll have to shut the computer down by 11.15pm every night.

6) DO HOMEWORK.
Try to do it yourself. It's for your own good.
Finish all assignments.

7) TRY TO BE PUNCTUAL.
You're known for being late. Start preparing earlier.
People don't live to wait for your late ass.

8) BE LESS ACCIDENT PRONE.
Stop hitting into things that are directly in front of you, tripping on thin air, flying across a moving bus/MRT, burning yourself, falling off beds/chairs.
It's annoying.

9) EAT LESS MAGGI, EAT HEALTHY.
If possible, quit maggi mee totally. Eat more vegetables.

10) BE OPTIMISTIC.
Look on the bright side, don't despair.

11) GET NEW CAMERA/FIX CAMERA.

12) GET OVER THINGS THAT WILL NEVER BE.

Picture this:

You're sitting patiently at a bus stop..
Loyally waiting for the correct bus to come along..
Your heart flutters when you see that bus with the correct numbers plated on the front..

Firmly gripping your wallet/ EZ Link card, you stand up..
You walk towards the road, waiting for the bus to stop and for you to step on it..

Then..
THE FUCKING BUS JUST DRIVES PAST WITHOUT STOPPING.

I've experienced it like a thousand times before.
I'm normally too embarrassed to sit down again so I just walk home, or I curse the bus aloud.

I know you're like supposed to wave your hand or something, but that's for taxis also.
So what's the use of bus stops if you can just wave one down anywhere?

So, I propose the government(or whoever) to built something to help the bus drivers know that there are people wanting to board the bus, so they would stop.

They should built some kind of traffic light-like thing.
If someone wants to board the bus, they would press the button and the green light would light up.

They could provide various buttons stating the different bus numbers, then the bus numbers would be flashed as well, so the particular bus would stop.

This idea was brought into my blog cause I was bored.
So don't criticize or judge me.

Yes I have been studying.

A few minutes ago, I was determined to blog about Zoey. Typing all the obscenities that were running through by head just now.
But I've calmed down already.

She happily skipped to my room, seemingly in a good mood and asked if I needed any help with my Math.

So I proceeded to look and try to process what she wrote.

She suddenly turned into the PMS freak she actually is and semi-screamed, "WHY YOU STARE ONLY? DON'T KNOW THEN ASK LA. STARE GOT WHAT USE? WANT ME TO WAIT IS IT?"

Siao one. So I told her it's okay, that I would ask in school tomorrow.
She stomped back into her room.

After a few minutes, she came back in and asked in a pissed tone, "WHAT LA, WHAT'S YOUR QUESTION LA?"
I said, "I'll ask tomorrow in school."
I repeated 3 flippin' times.

After she "HUH?!" in a very irritating and demanding tone 4 times, I raised my voice a little and repeated what I said.

Then she went freakin' bonkers.

So, today sucked a little.
Gonna be a honest post today.

Was late by 2seconds in the morning.
Irritating.

While on the way back to class, Gekkhee & Xiaoyun was too busy with their conversation to bother about me.
Joey was busy talking to Faiz to bother either.
So I walked on.

During Art my scrapbook was missing for a second, tho it was a small matter, it did affect my day.
Then Mdm Lis told us to make our own group of 4 for an Art project.

Gekkhee grouped with her row. I was fine with that, thinking Joey & Xiaoyun were available.
I turned to the back, they were mouthing to each other & obviously grouping themselves. I called them but they shrugged.
So fine, I turned around and waited.

When I turned around again, they were both already grouped with 2 other people.
Whoopie. No group for me.
I heard Gekkhee trying to help me. (thank you)
& some other stuff happened.
It just felt like they didn't care. Cos I didn't matter.

All along I've kept this to myself but I always felt I was redundant. Never belonging anywhere. Everyone else had their place.
I was feeling really troubled so I went to the washroom.
What happened in there doesn't need to be disclosed.

So sorry if the period of time after that I was not chirpy as usual.

I've been sleeping after midnight for 2weeks now.
Emeffing tired, aching and annoyed.

Speech day rehearsals and other stuff has taken it's toll on me.

• Led dance for HL.

• Ran 2.4km for P.E, in the end the timing wasn't recorded. Emeffing sian.

• Lessons made me lethargic.

• Modern Dance.. bar practice then immediately constant practice for Speech Day for around 3 hours. Tired ttm.
